"CARING FOR YOUR BRUSHES"
by Robert K. Roark
Good art brushes aren't inexpensive so proper care is a must. In this issue Mr. Roark gives you a helpful hint on how to care for your art brushes. In our next issue Mr. Roark will give you a tip for a proper palette.
At the end of each workday, rinse your brushes in clean turp, followed by washing with warm water and a mild soap. Rinse thoroughly, pat dry with a paper towel and, after shaping the bristles, stand brushes upright in a brush jar. Let dry overnight before revising.
